I just grilled some burgers and my egg is at about 400. My wife wants me to bake a peach pie. Do I have to let the egg cool all the way down before I put the plate setter on?

But you could work up some sort of story about how another BGE who be so much easier and less hazardous...or some such sales pitch >-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Burn that burger grease off first. Last time I baked after burgers it taste like hamburgers.

Be sure to burn the peach juice off so your chicken doesn't end up tasting peachy.
