mustard oregano rub

My favorite rub for chicken:

6 TBS dry mustard

3 TBS dried oregano leaves

2 TBS chili powder

1 TBS garlic powder

1 TBS pepper

1 TBS salt

I wash and towel dry my chicken.  Place the pieces in a large bowl.  Liberally sprinkle on the rub.  Turn the pieces and get the other side.  I pour it on pretty thick.  It's not "hot".  If I want to add some heat for wings I toss them in hot sauce before applying the rub.  Since all the ingredients are in tablespoons it's easy to convert for larger amounts.

My actuary says I'm dead.
