How long can a BGE live?
Is is possible to wear out a BGE? Got mine used and it's 4 years old.

Nope.

All the wear-out-able parts are re-place-able...
-
Not in your lifetime, unless you subject to blunt-force-trauma.

Mmmm 4 years that's getting pretty old, I have an EGG retirement community where you can house the EGG for its remaining days. I'll be reasonable only 2 Butts a month for the remainder of the EGG's lifespan.Actually I expect that my EGG will outlast me be a good number of years!Happy 4th.DavidBBQ since 2010 - Oh my, what I was missing.

The green coating has started to chip on mine...not sure if it will ultimately affect the lifespan or not??

Thanks for the input. Take it easy.
