Beef Hash-Already looking forward to BGE and the 4th

I have a pretty simple crock pot beef hash recipe. I want to get the BGE involved. Normally use stew beef for the crock pot. However, I was thinking about getting a 4-5 lb chuck roast, cook on the BGE, and finish in the crock pot. I wanted to bounce the idea off the eggperts on this forum. If you have other suggestions or recipes for beef hash, I would love to hear about them.

    I don't see how that wouldn't be tasty.
