Dome not sitting flush

Ever since I got the Egg the upper dome part has not sit evenly on the base.  The top sits back further, almost giving it a bull dog type look with the lower part appearing to be foward.  The seal seems OK, but I would think the more gasket on gasket the better, any ideas?  Besides tweaking the back nuts and bolts, which I have done a few times, how can I fix it?

There is a video mentioned here on You tube. Basically, some cut washers are used to push the dome to the correct position.
