Mix of Chicken Legs

Ever have one of those nights where you just don't know what you want to eat? I had one last night. I had already pulled out chicken legs to thaw yesterday morning, but couldn't figure out I wanted to do with it, besides grill it. Mrs. G asked me to do a lemon pepper one for her one with Stubb's Rub. I ended up doing two with Stubb's Rub, one lemon pepper, one Big Al's Hell From Texas and one with Dizzy Pig Bombay-ish seasoning since I haven't gotten around to trying it yet. Set up the Egg at 400, with some cherry wood chips for flavor and used the BGE grate extender to raise it up a bit.

Also threw some corn on, heated up some Bush's Grillin's Beans Southern Pit Barbecue and Mrs. G made up a salad to go with it. (wasn't real thrilled with the beans, they were ok, just nothing spectacular)

I've got to say, Chris has another winner up his sleeve with the Bombay-ish. I'm not all that familiar with curry type seasonings, but this is by far the best one I've ever tasted. I thought it was fragrant when it was just in the bag. After cooking, the aromas were even stronger in pleasing way. It had a nice savory flavor and you could definitely taste the cumin, corriander and tumeric in it. I would say a low to medium heat level, nothing that would interfere with the other flavors or the food. I'll be doing another in-depth cook with it soon, but I just couldn't resist trying it out real quick.
