I am cooking some baby backs tomorrow mikes carwash style and was wondering how long some bakers might take at the end. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

I cook at 400 to 450 and a little over an hour so at half I would allow to put on the last 2 hours and nuke the balance.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

I use my thermometer and cook until they are 210 degrees. Same as Mickey 400 for about an hour.Mark Annville, PA

I have tried what you are doing and depending on the size of the potatoes it could easily go up to 3 hours, 2 at minimum. Times like this I wish I had a second egg I could run at 350-400 ish.Be WellKnoxville TN

I'd run with 3 hours

I did some medium baked taters with a rib cook and put them on for about 4 hrs at that temp and they turned out perfectly. Wrapped in foil with coat of oil and sea salt. One thing about that temp - you can not hardly over-do them.

+1 on what Tweeve said. Might as well nuke them to about 1/2 way done. Then we egg them without the foil, like the way the skin gets a crunch. Just a personal preference. Lots of people prefer softer skin with foil.
