I keep finding ants on my Big Green Egg top each time I take the cover off. I take care to clean everything very well at the end of any cook. Anyone have any advise?

We take off.  Nuke them from orbit.  It's the only way to be sure.

Spray whatever (nest legs, table legs, etc) is touching another surface with ant pioson. Is cover touching anything besides the egg?

Don't cover your egg.  They like the warm moist enviroment the cover creates.

250 with lots of hickory smoke for a few hours, no foil, sauce towards the end if that's your thing. =P~

Already tried that. Cover doesn't touch anything else.

 I prefer cherry smoke and no sauce. Serve them with a little side salad.

When I see ants on my porch, I hit them with a little map gas. They smell like burnt hair but at least they won't be back.
