Large BGE and Kamado Joe parts Qs

My local BGE dealer has closed shop and genuine BGE parts are hard to come by without costly shipping fees, especially for the plate setter/pizza stone.

However, there is a KJ dealer 1 hour drive away that can get KJ parts brought in.  So would Kamado Joe's heat diffuser (their "plate setter") fit my large BGE (purchased less than a year ago).

Skip the platesetter.  Get this instead; probably for less money than a platesetter.  Gives you raised indirect as part of the deal.

I should've mentioned I'm in Canada and shipping from the US doubles the parts cost, that's why I'm looking into KJ parts as an option.  Thanks for the links tho:)

My bad. Freds sells primo grills, not kj

The heat deflector will work in the BGE. The recessed areas of the fire ring don't quite line up with the KJ deflector frame, but you can flip the ring upside down.

Thanks for the responses, someone else sent me a pm confirming what you say, SandBilly.  I'll give the KJ deflector a try!
