stainless table--ideas?
I'm looking for a stainless tablefor my large egg with doors or drawers. I live in FL and the wood weathers so stainless sounds good to me--any negatives?
Any suggestions on where or what brand to get? I want some good table top space and the drawers will keep the humidity out

I added a drop in cooler and a drain hose that goes out to the french drain.

I picked this up at a used restaurant equipment place for about $500. Still have to get a granite top but it will be real nice when I'm finished. I could have used the top that is on it but I thought it would get too hot in full sun.

Mine is Aluminum with powder coat. All doors are weather proof and hold all of my accessories.

I was thinking about the same thing since I am in Ga and my deck faces south and gets full sun all day.
I actually like having the Large Egg in a nest so I can move it around easily and was considering a stainless table with some drawers or doors to use next to the Egg.
I had never thought about powder coated aluminum. I like that idea.

Now that you've had that SS table for awhile, how's it holding up and would you recommend it? I'm in Miami and worried about the heat and salt air.2 Large BGE, MiniMax, Miami, FL

I have this same cart for my XL and it is amazing. These challenger carts are not cheap but they are made very well.

Man, Dan4BBQ's cart looks like exactly what I need!I can't believe Mid-America doesn't have a web site, though... I'm old, but not old enough to prefer the telephone.

Dan,How much did that cart run? If you don't mind me asking. Thanks.

Site for Mid-Amer is in test phase now. If interested, message me

If it's sitting in the Florida sun wouldn't it be hot enough to cook on?Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

The challenger web site has changed. The new URL for the grill carts mentioned in an old post above is now:

I've got one on order for delivery in a few weeks. They have numerous options. My local dealer is MeadowCreek BBQ in New Holland, PA. They have several in their showroom and Jesse really knows the options.

I would definitely start at a used restaurant supply place. Restaurant fail at a rate of about 25% in the first year and 60% within 3 years. Older restaurants replace a lot of their kitchen fixtures every 3-5 years.
