Am proud owner of a Lge. BGE. I attempted a Boston Butt Pork roast on Sunday I marinated it with Olive oil Then rubbed it with mustard and then patted it with dizzy pig seasoning.left it in the refrig overnight. removed it in the a.m. and let it sit for 2 hrs at room temp. Set my grill up for indirect using the place setter, legs up, and also used some Hickory wood chips for some smoke. I also used a drip pan on the place setter.Temp was set at 300 F. My 5.85 lb. butt was cooked to perfection at 190 degrees in 5 hours and 45 mins. My wife and I agreed that this was the best pork roast we have ever eaten and it solidifies our decision to have purchased our BGE.
