T-Pow Wok

OK, this has about as much relation to Asian wok cooking as TexMex has to Mexican food.  I had already marinaded some boneless chicken in teriyaki for a grill, and we decided to do a stir fry.  I took the Kung Pao recipe and sort of made teriyaki pao, no I mean T-Pow (I am loath to insult Kung Pao).

Worked pretty good and tasted yummy.  When I cleaned the wok with water and a brush over the fire the water beaded up all along the edge.  I guess I've got it seasoned OK.

I wasn't going to comment until I saw meat.  Looks good.

To me, the entire secret of stir fry is in the sauce.  Have a good sauce, and it's going to taste good.

Kung Pao sauce except teriyaki instead of sweet soy.

    Doc,

We have a fabulous Asian supermarket in Houston.  I can easily find any ingredient I need.  My wife and I are having turf wars for the pantry.  I have filled up two sections on just Asian sauces and spices.  Sweet Soy Sauce (Kecap Manis) is not even a big player at that grocery.  I had to get help to find it.

We have a place in Orlando called the Asian Supermarket.  I got sweet soy, black vinegar, and white pepper there.  I am sure I could get any ingrediant I need, but they only have large bottles of everything.  When you shop there you get a year's supply,

That is were I go to get Sriracha sauce.
