How to make bacon?

I recently bought half a pig. I asked for the butcher to just separate it into pieces, well he did the bare minimum. He gave me the front leg, back leg, 2 sections of ribs, and half a head. All of it totaling 100 pounds. After separating the side pork for the spare ribs, I ended up with around 30 pounds of side pork. I would like to make my own bacon, does anyone have any bacon recipes?

I tried this one on the weekend and it turned out great...maybe a bit on the salty side.

Do you have pink salts? If so, all you need is some kosher salt, brown sugar and time. Let me know and I will post a recipe.

consider making a couple hams from the hind legs. if you do one as a country ham and the other as a city ham, then you can eat one now, on next year
