Cracks in glaze on top

I have just discovered what appear to be cracks in the glaze of the top of my LBGE. Anyone else experience this? Mine is 1.5 years old and is kept under cover but not under a cover. Is this a problem?
Born and raised in NOLA. Now live in East TN.

Do you have any pictures? Mine new looked to have a " spider web" in the glazing. Don't know if that's common but don't think that it's going to hurt much either. Could be wrong!?Conway, S.C.

Common. To be expected. That coating is glass, essentially. The cracking is called crazing, and it's typical. As the ceramic expands with heat, the glaze can't expand at the same rate
