Hello all! This is a great forum. I just bought a used medium bge and getting ready to do some grilling and smoking this weekend. Only question I have at this point is how to get the multi function cover off the lid? Seems to be stuck on. Any suggestions on how to get it off without hurting my egg? Thanks!

They don't fit tight so it must just be covered in gunk. If you can't just yank it off I'd LIGHTLY tap it with a hammer. Never heard of one being stuck on like that.Packerland, Wisconsin

not sure about a hammer. I would maybe get the egg hot and let it loosen. or maybe take a torch to the metal top. let it expand and pull it right off.XL Walled Lake, MI

Stevesails is right, heat it up and it should come off easily. Then after you do a high temp cook, stick the top in the Egg for a while to burn the crud off of it.
