Apple Pie

A few nights back I cooked some pizzas and since the egg was already hot it seemed like a waste not to take advantage of all that heat. The wife made a quick apple pie and about 50 minutes later at 400 F we had dessert.
It was neat baking a pie on the egg but I don't think I would ever fire it up just for pie.

I too hate to waste a fire.

Did you put the pie plate directly on the stone, or did you remove the stone and put it on a grid?

I had it on the grid which was sitting on the place setter legs up. Figured the pizza stone would be overkill.Lucky to have a LG Egg My Blog: http://manvsgrill.blogspot.com/
