Anyone have some thougts or use this device to do some cold smoking? It looks as though it just uses a tea candle as the heat source which can be purchased in any store. Is this correct? Also is the wood dust easy to get?

I've got one and it works as long as you use dry sawdust. The original dust from the package worked great but when I got some from another source it kept going out. The manufacturer (Ian) told me how to dry the dust that I had but honestly I never did and the thing has been in the cabinet ever since. So my advoice is to order extra dust with the unit. The tea candle is just to light it and it's a small one so i'd probably get some of those too. Then you should be good to go!Ray Lampe Dr. BBQ
