What have others used as the difference in height between the top and shelf on a xl table?

I used the plans right off of the BGE web site. I used 2x4s to build it with 4x4 legs. I don't know the dimensions off hand. It seemed a little small at first, but have found that my plate setter and pizza stone tuck away nicely there. I am having a concrete counter top made for the top. I plan on putting runners under the bottom shelf that will hold plastic bins for all of my other accessories.Mark Annville, PA
