oh no! i wish. i picked them up at a local seafood market.i've made apfelwein, but have never tried making regular wine. i'm sure one day i'll get around to trying it. i'd love to make a nice pinot grigio.

why is it illegal in MI? didn't Jimmy Carter change the federal law to allow beer and wine making at home?

you'd have to ask all the bubba's that run this state. making wine is legal.

State Laws
The 21st Amendment predominantly leaves regulation of alcohol to the states. Thus, even though homebrewing is federally legal, it is still up to individual states to legalize homebrewing in state codes. The vast majority of states have legalized homebrewing, though laws regarding homebrewing vary widely.

i believe about half of our counties are still "dry".

mississippi (of all places) just defeated the "personhood" amendment with a public vote and the newly sworn in legislature is making it's passage without a vote from the people a priority.
mississippi is a pretty messed up state.

You would think a guy that lives in MA and borders ME would know that though
