Has anyone smoked cheddar cheese?

    Yes I did last week. Worked out fine. Tasted great. The Gouda was better. I used the Cold Smoker plans from the Naked Whiz site on my large egg.

    Yes ... many times. Only takes an hour or two depending how smoky you like it. Pit temp should never exceed 80º or the oils will separate from the solids. A few lit briquets in the bottom sprinkled with your favorite wood chips and cheese on the rack above PS feet up.

    Try several different cheeses, to see what you like best!
