Mulberry Wood Chunks?

OLD NORTH STATE BBQ CO.
edited January 2012 in EggHead Forum
I'm reading Myron Mixon's book, and he reccomends fresh fruit woods when smoking pork.  I have a large Mulberry tree in my back yard, and was wondering if anyone has any experience smoking with mulberry wood.  Probably a stupid question, but figured I ask since I have plenty of it.

nope.  but snap a twig off it and give it a shot, bark included.  if it smells good, it'll taste good too.

no need to season the wood.
