What came first the Chicken or the Egg

In my case the chicken came first. I wish I knew about the Egg years ago

Ok did a spatchcock chicken last night. In direct Pl feet up. No drip pan. Might have to use one next time, But I figured the PL was new and needed to get seasoned. I added a few chunks of Pecan wood to the fire after it was established.

I rubbed the chicken with some Bad Byron's Butt Rub a few hours before the cook. Roasted the bird at 380F for 1.5 hours. All I can say is dam. I have never had chicken breast meat so soft and moist. The skin was a nice bronze color and crispier than if I had fried the birds.

I had bought some frozen bread dough earlier and it was ready after dinner so baked that alos. Turned out nice as well
