Smoked Sausage

I'd never tried smoked sausage before. On our last vacation we flew into Dallas and drove across Texas to Big Bend and back. I somehow managed to hit a couple of TX Q joints on the journey. Seems sausage along with brisket is a TX Q staple and unknown to me pretty darn good.[p]Anyhow, since then I of course have been smokin sausage on the Egg. One brand that we have really enjoyed is the Butterball Poblan?? (Polish). I am definately not going to recomment turkey bacon to anyone, but this is better than the pork sausages I've tried to date and thought it was worth passing along. A very tasty, very easy cook. No prep, one hour at 250 with one flip and delish.[p]Regards,
