Cleaning Plate Server

Hi All,

Suggestions on cleaning my new plate server.  Only used it once.  Got turkey drippings baked on surface.  BTW it also cracked on the first use!

I should have said plate setter. ;=)

I scrub it in the winter with same tool I use to clen my grill (now) and use a powerwasher in the summer.  Should not crack, what temp were you at? Perhaps easiest way to clean it is to return the defective piece of equipment for another

Talk to your dealer about the crack.

In general to clean it, put it in the egg and crank up the heat.  It will look brand new.

Like ChokeonSmoke said when you get your new one just clean in the egg.  Use drip pans or a piece of aluminum foil to catch the drippings instead of letting them bake on the Plate Setter.
