looks good. What type finish before and after ? How long did the first one last ?
-
I guess technically it was just finished...not re-finished, as the wood was stock from the factory.
I used minwax red mahogany followed up with their semi gloss spar varnish.

looks great! you said the wood is from the factory - is it from BGE is there pricing on their site
-
I believe it is a BGE OEM accessory. I bought it from a BGE retailer at the same time as the egg. I think the wood is cypress, and it retails unfinished for around $500. I honestly forgot exactly what I paid for it.

Nice job, my wife just told me I can do our two tables. LOL thanks.Love the colour though.:-))I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike Bar.

Looks awesome. Just got my table from my fiancé for Christmas, so I very might well finish it in this color. Any issues with food dropping on this finish? Do you think it will hold up? If mine is unfinished will I have to sand it?

My looks almost exactly like this one with a semi gloss finish. Cleanup is a breeze. I did sand it down starting with a fine grand and moving to very fine before even staining. It comes in pretty good shape but sanding is needed in my opinion. (only plan to do it once myself) I cover mine when not in use but I live in Vegas where the sun is intense. Seems to be holding up very well.
