Help With Temp?

Hi All,
Tonight marks my first night having a problem getting the temperature up with the Egg. I'm not doing anything any different than usual, though it is quite a bit colder than my last cook, but that shouldn't be a problem.
Clean firebox filled with Wicked Good, vents wide open. Can't get it over 300 without using my electric mattress pump to blow air into the lower vent, and even then the temp will rise, then quickly fall.
Thoughts?

Yeah, I can tell that it's hard stuff by the clinking sound it made when dumping some into the box. Had to pull a couple logs back out though. Man, they bagged up some pretty big stuff with this batch.Fire grate is clean and clear.I think I finally have it stabilized at the temp I need, though it sure was a chore getting it there.Egg Head in Klamath Falls, Oregon

When this happened with my Egg I limped through the cook and before I cooked again I pulled everything out of my Egg....fire ring, grate, fire box....and I shop vac'ed the whole unit. There was ash build up under the holes in my firebox and grate that was hurting my air flow.
