Ok everyone, I just bought a Sitting' Turkey Steamer to cook my bird for Thanksgiving. I've used the Sittin' Chicken Steamer and loved it so decided the turkey one should be good also. I plan on putting Woodchuck Hard Cider in the steamer. Also, I was thinking about putting fresh rosemary and thyme mixed with butter between the skin and meet. I was thinking about instead using Dizzy Dust mixed with butter to put under the skin and in the cavity. Any suggestions and/or thoughts? Thanks!
Mike

Promise I wont debate the "B" word any more. -
Helpful as always, Tweev.
I did a beer can turkey last year. I was figuring that at 350 indirect it would take 15 min a lb, so my 16 lb bird would take 4 hours. Ended up only taking 3 hours, but I just wrapped it in foil and stuck it in a cooler. When it was time to serve, it was still warm and the juices had been able to redistribute.
