Cooking Two Pork Shoulders at Once

Can a person put two pork shoulders in the same roast rack, or do they need to be separate (not touching) each other? I am sure the bark won't be the same, where they are contacting one another, but I wanted to know if anyone has any tricks up their sleeves?

Also, any considerations for cook time/temp needed?
