I fired up the bge for the first time this afternoon after delivery. It cooks the most succulent boneless, skinless chicken breasts that I have ever tasted.
I filled the fire box up with bge lump and lit it in three places with the firestarters provided. Opened up both draft door and metal top fully and heated the egg to 550. I cooked the breast which were 1 1/2 inches at the thickest part for 2 minutes on each side and then shut down the vents at 400 degrees and allowed them to cook for 25 minutes.
I seasoned the chicken with a little kosher salt and webers kick'n chicken rub.
