Does Anyone Have An Electric Smoker?

Hey all, I'm thinking about buying an electric smoker, mostly for dehydrating with smoke and for the occasional cook when the Egg is full.

I was looking at the Bradley or the Masterbuilt. I like the idea of the Masterbuilt being able to use many different wood sources vs the Bradley's pucks only. But I'm not sure if the Masterbuilt is as good of a product as the Bradley, especially for dehydrating...which is probably the most important aspect of the cooker.

Can anyone comment on either brand?

I have a Masterbuilt stainless with viewing window.  It works great, plug it in and set it/ forget it all day.  It holds temps very well and the food out of it was very good.   Until I found the Egg the electric was the only way to go for winter time smoking.

Do you ever use it for dehydrating?

I haven't used it for dehydrating.

No reason to buy a "dehydrator", use the egg.  I also used to use my charcoal "Weber Smokey Mountain" all the time before I bought my egg.
