Where are the go-to beginner instructions?

Hello all,

Just pulled the trigger on a large BGE to be delivered next weekend and I'm trying to read what I can to be ready for it.  Appears that the instructions are spread out and many of them answer very specific questions.  Where are the BASICS?  I have the BGE cookbook, and it's not very useful at all.

This forum has tons of information, just remember there are usually more than one way to accomplish something, everyone has their way you just have to use some trial and error on what works for you. That said , there are a lot of people here to help !
