it was very smokey... probably in the top 3 steaks I've ever had

    I've been eyeing porterhouses.......may have to do one now, after seeing that hunk of cow......nice

    Now that looks REAL good!!!.
  • Wow!!  That is an impressive piece of meat!  How long per side did you leave it on the coals and how long to finish it on the grate?

    yellowdogbbq  a few of minutes on each side and then maybe 20 min. unfortunately I wasn't keeping track of the time
