I am reposting this since the original post is missing. We have had a BBE in the family since around 1974. My father purchased it in Japan. Our local dealer thought that people would be interrested in this bcause it i so old and still workinhg. He recommended that I join the forum and post som pictures so here they are:

Just hotdogs and burgers. Its been in the back of the garage for years. Did not know its capabilities until i saw the add in our newspaper.

BGE actually made some of the ceramic eggs in Blue for the Florida market years ago (thinking 8-10yrs or so) I have also seen an old version of a SS nest and mates that were made at the same time for those living in coastal beach areas. I would love to get my hands on one. I only ever saw a spare dome sitting on a shelf in the BGE warehouse, but that was maybe 5 yrs ago.
