Can you cook a turkey vertically on the BGE turkey holder on the large egg?

I just did an 11 lb. turkey on my turkey cannon, which tilts the bird down and with the plate setter legs up, I put a water pan there and the turkey & pan on the grate. Not much clearance.
I think though, if the bird is not too big and you center it, it should work.
Perhaps someone else here has had experience with the turkey holder ...

Last year I cooked a 16lb bird on my medium egg. I used the egg vertical stand filled with apple juice and it was the best turkey ever. So yes it cooks great vertical with a baking stone underneath it. Fits fine!

I did one last Sunday and it came out at perfect temp but the bird was a little tough.
