bolt size for the large BGE ring to hold top dome

Hey guys/gals,
I have to change my gasket on my large BGE, and to do so, will remove the top dome. As Ill have to take apart the hinge assembly loop (I still have my retaining clips for the spring, so ill be sure to use those to keep it in a closed and locked position), and the bolts are crooked now, whats the specs for these bolts; I wanna install new ones. Does anyone have the size and threadcount size necessary? And whats the term for the little square on the inside of the bolt that locks into the hinge ring?
Let me know, thanks!!!

A standard 5/16x2" galvanized carriage bolt should work fineKent Madison MS

What BBQ Maven said. Its a carriage bolt. They sell stainless steel ones also to replace the galvanized but you can reuse the bent ones. You only have to loosen the band a little to lift the dome out and take the band off the base.
