You would have to get it back up to temp to continue cooking .... absolutely not !!!
... and what Tweev said ...
Never eat anything passed through a window unless you're a seagull ... BGE Lg. -
ok then...late night/early am it is ! Is the cook time accurate?
-
You don't have to cook at that low of a temp. You can easily do 250/275 to speed up the cook and nobody will ever know. There are people that always cook their shoulders at 350 and they come out good.

well here I went to sleep for 4 hours and woke up to an egg at 100 degree...pork at 132...fire out..snap!Have just spent the last hour gettin her goin again....:(will let you know how it goes...just weird that the temp held fine for an hour at 225 b4 I went for a nap...usually holds steady for hours? ANy thoughts Lit or Squeezy?

Depends how well the fire was established and if you had enough air flow or perhaps your lump was damp.Never eat anything passed through a window unless you're a seagull ... BGE Lg.

225 is a hard temp to maintain. I always do my low and slows at 250. I have never had a fire go out but I have woken up to 200 degrees. If I was cooking at 225 my egg probably would have gone out.

Just to close the loop...it turned out really well..like butter! Thnx for the tips everyone!
