My cast iron egg top has become rusty. Given the issues of heat/fire and food, I'm not inclined to use my usual methods of rust removal. Does anyone have an Egg solution to this? Thanks!

You might spray it with cooking oil or olive oil and rub it down. Store inside your egg when you don't use it.
The Naked Whiz -
Use tomato juice to remove the rust, letting it soak over night should be good but in most cases about 10-14 hours normally works then oil it well and keep it in the grill when not in use to hopefully prevent future rust.
