Want someone to build you a table?

I found a guy Brian Crisler at 404 886 2183 who will build a great table from nice Cyprus or Ipe and ship it to you. I have two. Friends have bought 3 more. We are all pleased. He gave us good prices. I think less than I could build it for
Stainless steel screws and fittings heavy wheels, etc. Great guy to work with.
Btw I am not connected with him in any way...

I've got one that I will post when I get a chance...

Here we go. This is the standard table with one of my large eggs. I finished it with Danish oil. It's cedar, all nice clear wood. The guy built it well. The joints are all reinforced. All edges are rounded with a router. There are several hooks on the end for tools. The towel rod on front is stainless. all the screws are stainless.

Beautiful !

Stupid question I guess but how do you clean the ashes that fall to the bottom?
-
harrisbuckdo you mean the bottom of the Egg or on the table?Kent Madison MS

For ashes in the egg ... Scrape them out with the supplied tool. I pull them out the door and into a fireplace shovel.
Some invariably drop onto the concrete paved built into the table. I hose them off whenever I get around to it... Not very often. -
He may wish to consider something like option B in my table plans where the stone under the egg extends all the way to the front edge. Unless you keep the screen closed all the time, you will probably have an ember or two fall out onto the wood over time. I had more stone in front of my Egg's lower vent that you have in the photo and I got about 3 burns in the wood.

@The Naked Whiz - I gather from your comments that you cook with your screen open. Is that right?I always close the screen.

I use a shop vac and clean it after a large cook or just prior to doing a large weekend cook.

@Brad Thank you for your kind words. Glad you and your friends are happy with your purchase.
@The Naked Whiz I appreciate your suggestion, but after 1000+ tables, we've never had an issue with scorching of any sort. The safety of our customers is our top priority. Thank you though.Disclaimer: This is not Brian Crisler. I am his brother Kenneth, and along with building tables I operate our website.http://choiceofga.com 1000+ Tables & Counting… Direct From Fayetteville, GA "It is a poor carpenter who blames his tools." -
@HebearMcGhee ...just credit where it is due. I have two of your tables, and three friends have them, so I have 5 examples of happy smokers.
-
What is your web address for your tables?

@HebearMcGhee I don't call this spamming... I suggested that your tables were good and reasonably priced, etc... No different than recommending any other cooking related product. Looks like you are just responding to questions. Doesn't look like self promoting at all. It didn't start from your side. It was an egg guy recognizing and recommending your product. Besides you aren't being obnoxious, etc.
