I've had my green egg for about 10 yrs and love it, but lately.....

I left the egg closed with top and bottom vents open to burn out old charcoal.

When i came outside my green egg cyprus table was burning next to the closed egg????????

The gaskets had melted together  so I had to pour self light charcol down the top , start a fire and finall open the egg

I got a table made with a concrete top and had a stove gasket put on the bottom but it came off after several times cooking.

I went to the local green egg store today bought the green egg gasket that they said was "remove the backing and put it on"

when i read the instructions it says use" 3m super 77" where the heck do you get 3m supper 77 and why doesn't come with the gasket?

Oh did I mention, the hairline crack in the egg base, don't think that will become a problem????

I did go out an commit heresy, bought a weber gas grill as a back up. My daughters birthday i Fri and I have to cook steaks, wonder how

they will do on a gas grill ,I,forgot how to use one.

Thanks for any help finding glue- 3m super 77

Ted
