First Pizza

Bass Ale in hand and the Egg heating up. I'm cheating since this is my first pizza so I'm going with a thin crust Publix brand Margarita pizza. Plan is to run Egg at 500. Place adjustable rig in with stone up high. Let heat for 20min. Throw on pie and pull after cheese is melting and edges are brown. Any thoughts? I'll post pictures later and once I get my "sea legs" I'll give Tweevs dough a go.

I hear you. Looks good. Let the beat down begin. 4Runner is posting frozen pizza. lolI went light on the lump. Could only pull 475 or so. Crust is crispy though. No stick issues either. We tried did the corn meal thing when we made pizza - husband didn't like it at all. Said it was like eating grit.
Next pizza we used parchment paper and it was sooooooo much better.
I cooked the pizza on a cast iron pizza pan so I don't have any idea what difference a real pizza stone would be like. It seems to be the method of choice but our pizzas are pretty good.Every day is a bonus day and every meal is a banquet in Winter Springs, Fl !
