Can I freeze a brisket in the cryo bag it came in?

I have.  The meat does break down a bit, but no more than with any other freezer/wrap method.  I don't know what the time limit is for just refrigerating a cryo-pak, but hopefully someone can chime in (I believe its quite a long time, but can't remember for sure).

  • I have used them 6 maybe even 8 months after freezing (damn chest freezers) could not tell thje difference from fresh, no freezer burn or off tastes. I have one in there now.
