The formatting of the recipe using this tool looked bad so I'm attaching the recipe for download.

  • The recipe is a great one, it originally came from "Southern Living" magazine some 20+ years back.  Be prepared for a real treat!
  • Sounds awesome...no link :(

    Here it is:

    Meat Loaf Supreme

    2 Lbs Ground
    Beef

    ¾ Cup Italian
    Season Bread Crumbs (Progresso)

    ¼ Cup Catsup

    1 Egg, Beaten

    2 Tbs Grated
    Parmesan Cheese

    1 Tsp
    Worcestershire  Sauce

    1 Tsp Dried
    Minced Garlic

    ¼ Tsp Dried
    Basil

    ¼ Dried Thyme

    ¼ Tsp Dried
    Parsley Flakes

    ¼ Tsp Salt

    ¼ Tsp Black
    Pepper

    1 Small Red
Pepper Cut Thin Into 2” Strips

    1 Small Onion
    Sliced Thin Into Rings

    3 Fresh
    Mushrooms Sliced Thin

    2-3 Slices Of
    Swiss Cheese (6x3.5)

    Combine first
12 ingredients, mix well.  Shape mixture
into an 18x12” rectangle on a sheet of wax paper. Layer red pepper, onion,
mushrooms & cheese on rectangle, leaving a 1” margin around edges.  Roll meat mixture up in jellyroll fashion,
starting at the short side and using wax paper to lift and roll.  Pinch the edges to seal.  Place on a “lighty greased” broiler pan
rack.  Bake at 350 for 45-1 hr.  Serves 6 people.
