Admins: have the hosting provider check their server times

I've been trying to troubleshoot my problem logging into the new forum with my iPad. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is yet, but one thing I see is that the server times appear to be off - slow by about 4-5 minutes. This could potentially cause problems. By the way, I'm a network/sysadmin by trade, so... not new at this.

Here's an example (the clock on my client is correctly sync'd). I made a request at 5:06:20 GMT, and these are the response headers I got back - note the "Date:" line marked in red:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: nginx/0.7.67
Date: Thu, 04 Aug 2011 05:01:54 GMT
Content-Type: application/json

I'm not sure if this is a problem or not, but properly setting their server clocks should be an easy thing to do.

    Update:

Thanks to a tip from another user, it seems that using the domain name biggreenegg.vanillaforums.com solves the iPad login problem (and possibly some other problems as well). Looks like some sort of cookie/domain problem.
