Asain Alder Salmon

Fresh Salmon Filet of 2 or more pounds, skin on.

1/3 Cup Lemon Juice (Fresh Squeezed preferred)

1/3 Cup Real Maple Syrup

1/3 Cup Lite Soy Sauce

6 Cloves Minced Garlic

2 Handfuls Alder Wood Chips, Soaked 30 minutes

Soaked Alder board (Optional)


Combine ingreadients into shallow pan and place Salmon meat side down in mixture.

While marinading for 15 minutes, set BGE for Direct Cooking at 225-250 degrees.

When temp is reached, pleace Alder chips in coals, add grill and place Salmon in Alder plank or direct on grill skin side down.  Scoop garlic out of mixture and spread on Salmon.

Close lid and smoke for 45 minutes at above temp.

Remove and enjoy!!!
