Filipino Barbecue

Mike Losabia (aka Beanie-Bean)
edited November -1 in Pork

Ingredients

Country Cut Ribs

Mama Sita's BBQ Marinade

Beer or 7up

Black Pepper

Instructions

Slice pork thinly, and marinate in mixture for 24-48 hours.
When ready to cook, soak bamboo skewers about 20 minutes prior to skewering meat.
Cook direct over 375° raised grid, turning frequently. Look at meat for doneness, and pull as char marks appear evenly around the skewer. One thing I do to prevent the skewers from burning while the meat is cooking is to take a piece of foil and fold it half and lay the exposed portion of the skewer on top of the foil to shield it from the direct heat source.

Boy, was I way off when trying to list the ingredients at the Eggfest :)
