Split Pea Soup

Ingredients

1 left over ham bone with most of the meat cut off and into bite size pieces
1 bag shredded carrots
1 bag country style hash browns
2 onions chopped
2 bags of dried split peas
2 bay leaves

Instructions

I litterly just dump everything in my large dutch oven and cover with water.  No soaking or anything.

It goes right on the egg, at 300 degrees with indirect set up, and comes off in about 3 hours... thick, bubbling and hot.

I did have to add a little more water as it was very thick.
