Ingredients
3 pounds of your favorite nuts;
1.5 cups of sugar;
Cinnamon, a whole bunch;
Nutmeg, a dusting;
Chile powder, type and amount of your choosing;
Salt, pinch or so;
Oil;
Instructions
Wet the nuts with a little bit of water, blot dry but leave them damp, toss into the mixed dry ingredients, scoop up & shake off excess, place nuts in deep fryer for one minute or until they float, remove, place back into dry ingredients & toss until nicely coated.
I like them hot, so I add a whole lot of Chipotle powder to the mix.
Notes
I did this on the mini egg, however, the consensus opinion is that for safety reasons, this is not a good idea or recommended.Number of Servings:
