Red Mustard BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 Cup Prepared Yellow Mustard• 1 tsp Ground Anise Seed
• &#190 Cup Dark Corn Syrup• &#189 tsp Allspice
• &#189 Cup Balsamic Vinegar• &#189 tsp Salt
• &#188 Cup Merlot• 1 tsp Ground Habanero Pepper
• 3 Oz Tomato Paste
• 1 tsp Ground Ginger

Instructions

Whisk all ingredients together in a covered sauce pan.

Simmer for about 30 minutes to meld all the flavors together. Cool and serve with pulled pork, or anything that begs for a tangy mustard sauce. Adjust the heat to your liking. Substitute ground cayenne pepper for less bite, or leave it out for a tame sweet mustard sauce.
