Three Sisters Pepper Jelly

Ingredients
• 1 Cup finely chopped green bell pepper |
• 1 Cup finely chopped red bell pepper |
• 2 finely chopped red hot peppers (seeds removed) |
• 2 finely chopped green hot peppers (seeds removed) |
• 1 tsp salt |
• 6½ Cup sugar |
• 1½ Cup white vinegar |
• 6 Oz Certo |
• parafin sealing wax |
Instructions
Boil all ingredients, except Certo, for 10 mins.Remove from heat.
Add Certo.
Pour into 8 - 8oz jars or 14 baby food jars. Fill high enough to ensure that the parafin can be easily removed.
Pour 1/8 - ¼ inch melted parafin over jelly to seal.
Pimento may substituted for the red bell pepper
