• Cup Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
• Cup Cup Bottled Water
• Oz Oz Ketchup
• Cup Cup Firmly packed brown sugar
• tsp tsp Kosher Salt
• tsp tsp Hot Red Pepper Flakes
• tsp tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
• tsp tsp Freshly Ground White Pepper
• Bag Slaw Mix

Combine all ingredients in a nonreactive medium size bowl and whisk until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Taste for seasoning, adding sugar or salt as necessary; the sauce should be piquant but not quite sour.

Note - the sauce will get hotter within a few days. Make it fresh every few days.

Mix some of the vinegar sauce with the slaw and serve on the side.
